Ha Long Bay – one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, Unesco World Heritage site. The natural architecture is not only the most spectacular sight in Vietnam but also on the whole world. If you travel to Vietnam, you should not miss this place. There are many attractions with beautiful sightseeing. Islands in Ha Long Bay have their own shapes and wonderful sights. They are very unique and no islands look like the others. Ha Long Bay looks like an extremely huge picture with thousands of fish islands if we look at it from above.

Some islands gather together; the others just stand by their side to create gorgeous aspect. Under nature’s creation, quite islands become lively and friendly with people. When summer comes, all bays changes from red color to light blue. Also, there are some flowers embellish for the beauty of all the islands in Ha Long Bay.

Created by limestone terrain, Ha Long Bay has many islands which have mysterious caves. The beauties of Ha Long bay not only show on mountains, islands but also hide inside some huge stones. With many caves extremely plentiful and mysterious make Ha Long become beautiful than ever.

Every cave has its own story about love, people and history. Locate in the centre of the UNESCO-declared World Heritage area, called “Grotte des surprises” by French. This is one of the finest and widest grottoes of Ha Long Bay. The way heads to the cave is a curve shape covered by trees and foliages.

Cave is divided 2 sides. The first side looks like enormous theater. The ceiling gives us the feeling like a silk path with a ton of natural light. It is so amazing and wonderful view. When we step into second side by small path, there are more surprising and attractive views to see. The second side is a small forest with diversity birds, pure lakes mix with huge trees and brilliant flowers.

Tunnel cave

Another cave that I am interesting is Tunnel cave. Its length is approximately 2 km. Because of small entrance, we have to take small ship or canoe to discover inside. I still remember the first time when I came here with my family, the cave was dark inside and scared outside. There is no light throughout the cave. We were given candle or something can create fire. Our small ship drifted slowly. Incredibly, stalactites fell down with different colors under our candle. Diamond pillar, lanterns were colorful under our eyes. This cave also is for someone like adventurous because if we do not know when the tide rises, we can be put inside the cave forever and cannot escape. Besides above cave, there are still many amazing and wonderful caves in Ha Long Bay for us to discover, learn new things and experiment.

Ha Long Bay is a place give you a peaceful feeling, a place where caves meet ocean, lands meet sky. A place we can see sailboats, beautiful islands and unique caves. It is a combination of nature’s creation. I believe that Ha Long Bay will be known by all the people all over the world. I hope my place will be preserved and contributed more to promote Vietnam’s aspect to the world. I can insist my hometown is the most interesting place for me so far and I am very proud of it is one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. If you want to travel, come to Ha Long Bay and experiment it. You will not regret.
